Focal Point is a cyber defence company founded in Belgium in 2012. We combine military, academic and commercial expertise to help defence organisations and critical infrastructure demonstrate that their critical operations can continue under cyber pressure.

How we work
Since 2012, we have delivered on European defence and resilience programmes, published 28 peer-reviewed papers, and built the ranges and tooling our own trainers use. More than 1,300 defenders have come through our training, from over 40 organisations across the EU, USA and Asia, including SOC personnel in NATO countries.
Our work follows structured methodologies. Findings are mapped to MITRE ATT&CK and tied back to CVEs and CPEs, so every result can be traced and repeated, and fits into the tools you already run, such as Microsoft Sentinel or Splunk.
Over the years we have worked alongside national security agencies, enterprise SOCs and major research initiatives across Europe.
Everything we deliver is built in-house. Our team has run red teams, worked inside SOCs and handled major incident response efforts, and holds CISSP, GCFA, CRTO, CRTL, GIAC and Microsoft Security Engineer certifications, among others.
